The Daihatsu Esse was originally introduced in the year 2005 in Japan which became the cheapest new car in the country during that time. The car also featured a 658 cc (40 cubic inch) engine and 4seats. It is available in 2 different styles as a 5-door hatchback such as Esse and Esse Custom. The Daihatsu Esse is also available as Eco, D, L and X in FWD and 4WD. During its introduction it became the main competitor for Suzuki Alto, Subaru Pleo, Subaru R1 and Mitsubishi eK. The Esse Custom was introduced in the year 2006 which was available as the Custom and Custom 4WD. |
